Mart, it has been amazing to follow your journey - with all the highs and lows! Your tenacity is impressive. Thank you for sharing your journey with us - I feel inspired from the comfort of my garden seat! Wishing you well for this final stage. You are a star!

I want to also thank you for choosing Salisbury Women's Refuge as your charity and for raising awareness of domestic abuse. I know, from my career in mental health, the devastating impact of domestic abuse and the stats are frightening! Donating to a refuge for women and children who experience domestic abuse is such a vital cause and when there is nowhere else to go, saves lives. Thank you again for supporting such an important local charity.

Dr Anita Green, Wiltshire

Martin, we are so proud of you and your incredible achievement. You've inspired us with your determination and commitment. Dear Supporter

I'm doing this as a personal challenge, but I believe that something this big should serve a purpose beyond just personal achievement. Every pedal stroke from the rugged cliffs of Cornwall to the tip of the Scottish Highlands is fueled by a commitment to give back. I am pushing my physical limits to transform this cross-country journey into a vehicle for positive change.

Preparation is already underway. From training rides each evening to mechanical preparations, the road to John o' Groats is long and steep. I am inviting you to be part of this journey, not just as a spectator, but as a supporter of the effort it takes to cross a country under your own power. Whether it's a donation to the journey or a word of encouragement, every bit of momentum counts.

I'm self-funding the entire trip, meaning 100% of your donations go straight to a cause that counts. I have chosen Salisbury Women's Refuge - a charity that provides accommodation and support for women and their children escaping domestic abuse.
